Our Why

More Than a Side Job

Two Thunder Wolves Academy is our family homeschool, but this is not just another school assignment. It is our way of replacing worksheets with real life.

Instead of only reading about responsibility, Jase is learning it by showing up, meeting people, communicating clearly, solving unexpected problems, working through frustration, and standing behind the work we complete together.

Paying it forward — volunteering with The Salvation Army.

Each project gives us a chance to help someone locally while practicing skills that are difficult to recreate in a classroom: estimating, budgeting, customer service, craftsmanship, teamwork, and the discipline to finish what we start.

When you hire us, you are getting dependable local help for your project. At the same time, your project becomes part of a young man’s real-world education and helps build the confidence, judgment, and work ethic he will carry into adulthood.

For us, success is not measured only by the finished job. It is also measured by the kind of person Jase becomes through the process.

After years of serving our community as a firefighter, I wanted to carry that same spirit of service into something more personal: teaching my son how to work hard, help people, solve problems, and build a life around responsibility instead of shortcuts.

    Backyard Leaf Cleanup

Yard cleanup · Henderson, KY · Raked and hand-gathered leaves along the siding and fence line, bagged the debris, and hauled it off.

One of several leaf cleanups we took on in the cold, clearing a deep layer of leaves from along the house and fence line and bagging it all out.

What Jase learned: Working through the cold without quitting early, and staying with a job until the yard is actually clear instead of just better.

  • Jase shoveling a snow-covered driveway beside a brick house after a heavy snowfallJase clearing packed snow from a parking area along a road in freezing weather

    Customer Project

    Winter Snow Removal

Snow removal · Henderson, KY · Shoveled and pushed snow off driveways, sidewalks, and lot edges, piling it where it would not have to be moved twice.

One of several snow removal jobs from the 2026 winter, clearing driveways, walks, and parking areas after heavy snow so people could get out.

What Jase learned: Pacing yourself in the cold, pushing snow to a spot that will not need moving again, and finishing the edges instead of just the middle.

  • Hazy, dust-streaked glass door panes blocking the view of the yard and shop buildingThe same glass door panes cleaned clear, with the shop building and yard sharply visible
    Practice Project

    Window Cleaning, Inside and Out

Window cleaning · Henderson County, KY · Washed and dried both sides of the glass, cleaned the frames and tracks, and checked the panes from inside and outside.

Cleaning glass doors and windows inside and out so the view is clear again, with dust, streaks, and water spots removed.

What Jase learned: Working top to bottom so drips do not undo finished glass, and checking the work from both sides before calling it done.
